The Women's Intercultural Network is a network that organizes, not an organization that networks -- connecting women across borders for collective action. It is the "mothership" of the California Women's Agenda which was formed to implement the Beijing Platform for Action through the grassroots, and advance the United Nations goals of equality, development and peace for women and girls. Gloria Steinem was a featured speaker at a WIN sponsored panel held at the UN 52nd Session of the Commission on the Status of Women in NYC.
